Repair work
A section of walkway will be closed for the duration of the works
Work to replace the damaged outfall pipe east of Bonchester Bridge is set to get underway next month.
Work will begin on Monday 4 August and last approximately five weeks.
A section of the walkway will be closed for the duration of the work.
As part of our work, we will upgrade the existing wooden bridge and concrete foundation on the walkway as well as the wooden bench.
We thank the community for their patience and understanding while we carry out these essential repairs.
